The UI Designer works in close collaboration with the Design Manager, the Product Managers and the Developers to create interfaces that align with usability best practices. You will join a team working to provide cutting-edge experiences for our users in a fast-paced environment. You can expect a great degree of autonomy and opportunities to use your artistic ability on products that reach millions of people daily.
What you'll be doing:
- Lead the end-to-end design process for digital products, from concept ideation to final implementation.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design concepts.
- Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and UI libraries to ensure consistency and scalability across products.
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to define product requirements and priorities.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior members of the design team.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UX/UI design.
- Advocate for user-centered design principles and contribute to a culture of design excellence within the organization.
- Work alongside other designers, product managers and reseachers for usability testing, and gather insights to inform design decisions.
- Champion usability and perform quality control on designs
- Ensure consistency with branding and marketing efforts and help to establish design guidelines for future product developments
Must Haves:
- 5+ years of UX/UI design experience
- Education in Graphic Design, Human Computer Interaction or related design program, or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar.
- Ability to design full websites (PC, Tablet & Mobile)
- Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and CSS/HTML5 is an asset
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present and justify design decisions to stakeholders.
- Experience working in agile development environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and prior experience in a UX/UI team
