Job Description

Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner, the primary focus of the HR Coordinator is providing accurate and efficient support on all HR processes, systems, and talent/development initiatives. The HR Coordinator plays a key role on the Corporate Human Resources team in maintaining the integrity of people data.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with and support HR Business Partners on various HR projects and initiatives.
  • Deliver and manage the Corporate onboarding program to ensure all internal and external hires are appropriately onboarded.
  • Provide support for HR data management by ensuring the data integrity of employee records such as benefits, onboarding and off-boarding tasks, and manage discretionary reporting.
  • Support HR analytics and reporting, which includes running monthly reports, compiling metrics, dashboard management and development.
  • Coordinate administration and reporting of recognition and service awards, wellness reimbursements, engagement surveys and other HR activities.
  • Arrange business travel for employees within the Corporate HR team.
  • Code invoices and process Purchase Orders for team supplies and equipment.

Qualifications

  • Post-Secondary education or equivalent in HR, Business, Industrial Relations, or related field
  • Minimum of three years of work experience required
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • HR certification (CPHR) would be an asset
  • Experience with HRIS systems, applicant tracking, or customer relationship management systems is a strong asset.
  • Experience managing small to medium projects and processes with limited oversight from supervisor.
  • Customer focused with superior communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to facilitate meetings with internal and external parties, in-person or virtually.
  • Strong organizational skills, demonstrating excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills to manage shifts in priorities.
  • Fluency in English is a requirement of this role. The ability to speak French and/or other languages is considered an asset
