BMW Group Financial Services Canada, located in Richmond Hill, is offering an internship within its Collections & Customer Payments Department. Reporting to the Collections & Customer Payments Manager, the successful candidate will be actively supporting the Fraud Specialist in the investigation, analysis, detection, and recovery of suspected accounts.
Specific Responsibilities Include
- Assist with data preparation, entry, and cleaning to support fraud monitoring and analysis.
- Conduct preliminary reviews of alerts and escalate findings to senior analysts for assessment.
- Support the investigation team by gathering documentation, organizing case files, and maintaining records.
- Help prepare summary reports, dashboards, and presentations on fraud trends and controls.
- Participate in process documentation and knowledge management activities (e.g., updating playbooks, preparing training materials).
- Support the senior analysts during fraud investigations, case triage, and risk reviews.
- Assist in cross-team projects by providing research, background analysis, and coordination support.
- Ensure confidentiality and adherence to BMW Financial Services’ data privacy, security, and compliance requirements.
- Perform other administrative or ad hoc tasks as assigned to support the team.
- Completed a post-secondary degree or diploma with a focus on Business.
- Experience with Fraud/SKIP investigation an asset.
