The Opportunity

Join Ascott as a Data Analyst and play a key role in shaping the future of hospitality. In this dynamic role, you'll analyze business data, uncover trends, and provide insights that drive strategic decisions across our global portfolio of serviced residences and hotels. Whether you're a fresh graduate or have 1–2 years of experience, this is an excellent opportunity to work with industry-leading tools like Power BI and SQL while collaborating with stakeholders to provide business insights, enhance guest experiences and lift operational efficiency.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist in analyzing and interpreting data to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.
  • Collect, clean, and organize datasets to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Generate reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using BI tools to provide insights for stakeholders.
  • Identify trends and patterns in data to support business growth and operational efficiency.
  • Support data management processes, including documentation and best practices for data governance.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and improve reporting capabilities.
  • Assist in evaluating datasets and identifying opportunities to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality.
  • Provide support for ad-hoc data requests and analysis as needed.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Business Intelligence, or a related field.
  • Fresh graduates with internship experiences, or candidates with 1–2 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related role.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and optimization.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.
  • Basic knowledge of Python, R, or other analytical programming languages.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Familiar with Microsoft analytics tools (SQL Server, Azure Data Factory, Power BI) will be advantageous.
