As a Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in driving our cloud business by delivering consultative, end-to-end cloud solutions that address our clients’ most pressing challenges. You will engage with C-level executives as a trusted advisor, translating complex cloud needs into impactful business outcomes. This role focuses on proactive client engagement, identifying cloud transformation opportunities, and positioning CloudMile’s cloud offerings as strategic enablers for innovation, scalability, and operational excellence.
Strategic Cloud Solution Selling:
- Proactively identify client solution needs, translating them into compelling business cases for CloudMile's cloud solutions.
- Translate business challenges into cloud solutions and enhance with the best of the bread technologies
- Articulate the value proposition of CloudMile’s cloud portfolio, emphasizing agility, scalability, cost optimization, and innovation—tailored to resonate with C-level executives (CIOs, CTOs).
- Develop and execute strategic account plans focused on expanding cloud adoption and accelerating digital transformation across key accounts.
- Lead technical sales engagements, including presentations, solution demos, and cloud architecture workshops, showcasing the capabilities and business benefits of our cloud offerings.
Cloud Architecture and Design:
- Architect and design scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions tailored to each client’s business and technical requirements, leveraging CloudMile’s comprehensive cloud portfolio, including AWS, Google Cloud, and third-party integrations.
- Develop end-to-end cloud adoption roadmaps for client organizations, addressing compliance, regulatory mandates, workload migration, operational efficiency, and cloud-native innovation.
- Conduct in-depth cloud infrastructure assessments to identify performance bottlenecks, security risks, and architectural gaps, followed by actionable recommendations.
- Provide expert guidance on competitive differentiators across cloud platforms and services, clearly articulating the unique value CloudMile brings to digital transformation initiatives.
- Participate in Request for Proposal (RFP) and business case development.
Partnership and Collaboration
- Foster strong partnerships between CloudMile and key cloud service providers to deliver integrated, innovative cloud solutions tailored to client needs.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (sales, engineering, product development) to ensure seamless solution design, implementation, and successful client outcomes.
- Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including both technical architects and business leaders, to drive cloud adoption and transformation initiatives across organizations.
What We Need To See
- 5+ years of proven pre-sales experience in cloud architecture and solution design, with a strong emphasis on cloud transformation, solution selling, and client relationship management.
- Demonstrable track record of exceeding sales targets and building strong sales pipelines in the cloud domain, particularly in DevOps, AI/ML, data migration, cloud migration, hybrid cloud, and multi-cloud environments.
- Strong knowledge of cloud technologies, including cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), Kubernetes, containerization, cloud security, and ISV such as MongoDB and confluent.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex technical solutions to C-level executives and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect, Microsoft Azure Certified) are highly desirable.
- Experience in DevSecOps and Software Development is a plus.
- Experience working with clients across Southeast Asia is a plus.
Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd
- Experience with cloud automation and orchestration tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation) for provisioning, security automation, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) deployment in cloud environments.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automating security tasks, data processing, AI/ML model deployment, and incident response in the cloud.
- Expertise in cloud data solutions, including data lakes, data warehouses (e.g., BigQuery, AWS Redshift, Snowflake), and real-time analytics platforms, enabling secure data access and processing.
- Experience with AI/ML and generative AI in the cloud, using platforms like Google AI, AWS SageMaker, or Azure ML to build secure models for predictive analytics, automation, and security, including anomaly detection and incident response.
- Hands-on experience in cloud migration, cloud native security integration, mongoDB and Confluent deployment is a plus
