Mid-Level Software Developer (PHP / Laravel / Vue)

About the Role

We’re looking for a Mid-Level Software Developer to join the collaborative engineering team. This position is ideal for someone with 2–4 years of hands-on experience in PHP development (Laravel or Yii) who also enjoys working with modern front-end frameworks such as Vue.js.

You’ll be stepping into a critical role focused on building, scaling, and maintaining web applications that power our core business platforms. The right candidate will bring both strong coding fundamentals and the curiosity to explore full-stack architecture, working closely with senior developers and cross-functional partners to deliver high-quality, scalable software.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using Laravel, PHP, MySQL, and Vue.js.
• Implement clean, modular, and well-tested code while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Support deployment pipelines and local development environments using Docker or similar container tools.
• Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and optimize queries for scalability.
• Participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and contribute to process improvements.
• Work in-office 3 days per week to collaborate and align with the broader engineering team.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 2–4 years of professional development experience building production web applications.
• Strong hands-on experience with PHP (Laravel or Yii) and the LAMP stack.
• Solid front-end experience with Vue.js (or React), JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Working knowledge of RESTful APIs, Git, and MySQL database management.
• Understanding of containerization tools such as Docker and basic DevOps principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for clean, maintainable code.
• Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cross-application integrations and scalable architecture design.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
• Exposure to tools like Composer, Webpack/Vite, or Laravel Mix.
• Previous experience in a product-based or SaaS environment.
