Nord Anglia Education is looking to recruit an Assistant IT Manager to join Etqan Global Academy in Doha, Qatar.

We are looking for someone to play a key role in supporting the Head of IT to ensure the smooth and efficient running of all IT systems and services across the school. You will help deliver secure, reliable, and innovative technology that supports both teaching and learning as well as operational excellence.

The Role

We seek an individual to join as an Assistant IT Manager, where your focus will be:

• Supporting the Head of IT in managing daily IT operations, ensuring systems, devices, and networks are reliable and secure.
• Providing technical support to staff and students, resolving incidents and service requests efficiently.
• Assisting in maintaining the school’s network infrastructure, servers, and Microsoft 365 environment.
• Supporting classroom technology, digital learning tools, and the integration of technology in teaching.
• Ensuring adherence to Nord Anglia’s cybersecurity and data protection standards.
• Managing IT assets, coordinating vendor support, and contributing to budget planning.
  
  

The Successful Candidate Will Possess

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in IT support or systems administration (education sector preferred).
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, and Windows Server environments.
• Experience with Fortinet, Meraki, Intune, and Windows Defender ATP.
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• A collaborative, proactive, and customer-focused approach.
