Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all activities related to immigration, visas, labor permits, and renewals for company employees.
- Represent the company at ministries and government offices, including the Ministry of Labor, Royal Oman Police, Ministry of Commerce, and Chamber of Commerce.
- Handle all matters related to employment contracts, sponsorship transfers, and terminations in compliance with Omani Labor Law.
- Maintain up-to-date records of Iqamas, work permits, and company legal documents to ensure timely renewals.
- Support HR and management in Omanization initiatives and ensure compliance with national labor quotas.
- Liaise with the Freezone, municipality, and other regulatory bodies for licenses, approvals, and renewals.
- Facilitate social insurance (PASI) registration and coordination for new hires and terminations.
- Prepare and submit official letters, forms, and documentation to government entities as required.
- Monitor and communicate any changes in government policies or labor regulations affecting company operations.
- Provide guidance and support to internal departments on government procedures and compliance requirements.
- Nationality: Omani (preferred as per Omanization requirements)
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, HR, or related field
- Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience as a GRO, PRO, or in a similar administrative role in Oman
- Strong knowledge of Omani labor law, visa processes, and ministry portals (ROP, MOL, MOCI)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in Arabic and English
- Proficient in MS Office and government e-services portals
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- High integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive information
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with government representatives
- Problem-solving attitude with a focus on compliance and deadlines
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
