React Native Engineer (f/m/d)

We are looking for a React Native Engineer with strong communication skills in English and a proactive mindset to join our mobile team and help us build the next generation of the Autohero mobile app.

You’ll work on a modern, well-maintained codebase, influence technical decisions, and shape the user experience for thousands of customers across Europe.

Job Description

Design, develop, and maintain features in our React Native app for iOS and Android
Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend developers to deliver user value
Own core parts of the app architecture, ensuring long-term performance and maintainability
Improve app speed, reliability, and UX through best practices and performance tuning
Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and mentor fellow engineers
Drive technical decisions and help improve team workflows and mobile engineering culture

Qualifications

3+ years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript
3+ years of production experience with React Native
Solid understanding of mobile development best practices: navigation, animations, performance
Experience with state management (e.g. Redux, Zustand) and server state handling with React Query
Familiarity with debugging tools, testing (unit/integration), and mobile release processes
Bonus: experience with native modules, CI/CD, and app store deployment
