Job Description
As a Mobile Engineer - iOS/Android or Kotlin multi-platform, you’ll be a part of a new eCommerce POS product that empowers users to manage their businesses on the go. You’ll work closely with a team of experts, taking ownership of technical challenges and contributing to the creation of this product from scratch. In your day-to-day, you will:
Wix’s POS (Point of sale) team, a business solution for brick and mortar businesses in the international market. Wix provides a complete ecosystem, including hardware, payment processing, and inventory management in order to allow brick-and-mortar stores to unify and manage their online and offline sales. Along the way, we tackle complex technical problems - from seamless payment integrations to optimizing performance at scale - ensuring our solutions are as robust as they are innovative.
As a Mobile Engineer - iOS/Android or Kotlin multi-platform, you’ll be a part of a new eCommerce POS product that empowers users to manage their businesses on the go. You’ll work closely with a team of experts, taking ownership of technical challenges and contributing to the creation of this product from scratch. In your day-to-day, you will:
- Build products from the ground up, ensuring high-quality performance
- Write full-cycle code and develop app architecture from scratch
- Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions with the team
- Establish and implement development best practices
- A self-motivated professional with a strong sense of ownership and drive, with with a minimum of 3 years experience in Android or iOS development
- Good understanding of software design patterns such as MV*, reactive and functional patterns. Experience implementing them in mobile applications
- Familiarity with Clean Architecture principles
- A collaborative team player with a positive attitude, eager to learn new technologies and development practices
