DTEK’s International Communications engages with audiences around the world to increase understanding of the company’s work powering life in Ukraine and beyond.
We are looking for a mid-level content designer to join our International Communications team, based in DTEK’s Kyiv headquarters but working directly with English-speaking colleagues outside Ukraine. The role is a perfect fit for a creative professional, who has corporate experience, first-class video and photo production skills, strong attention to detail and a can-do attitude.
Working alongside our content lead in a fast-paced two-person studio, the job will producing content for DTEK.com, our social media and presentations, as well as ad hoc work producing invitations, brochures and similar.
You would be liaising closely with stakeholders in London and Amsterdam, as well as Ukraine, so excellent English language skills are essential.
What you will be doing
As a content designer at DTEK, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and maintaining the brand’s visual identity and creative output across multiple platforms. This dynamic position involves managing a variety of design-related projects and developing creative and impactful content that aligns with the company’s messaging and communications goals.
Responsibilities:
- Produce professional content including video, social memes, infographics and animations for publication online, presentations, publications, materials for print and events – always adhering to the approval/publication process.
- Translate complex business concepts and data into clear, visually compelling narratives that support strategic communication objectives.
- Maintain the brand’s visual identity across all materials and advise others on its correct usage.
- Proactively making changes and improvements to processes and visual content to maximize engagement.
- Manage design projects end-to-end: scoping, prototyping, testing, feedback, and delivery using tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in digital, visual, or content design, preferably within a corporate, technology, or communications-focused environment.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Digital Media, or a related discipline.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro) and Figma for collaborative design, prototyping, and version control.
- Deep understanding of responsive design systems, UX/UI fundamentals, asset optimization, accessibility standards (WCAG), and cross-platform file management.
- Demonstrated expertise in video editing and post-production for social media platforms, with the ability to adapt content for different formats and channels.
- Demonstrated experience creating visually polished and brand-consistent presentations in PowerPoint and Google Slides, applying effective information design and storytelling principles.
- Working knowledge of supporting tools such as Canva, Notion, Asana for workflow orchestration and cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong grasp of visual hierarchy, color theory, typography, and grid systems to ensure design coherence across digital and print channels.
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, prioritize deliverables, and coordinate with diverse stakeholder groups in a fast-paced environment.

*This is a temporary position for 1 year. This position is offered under a civil contract (service agreement) for one year, with the possibility of extension upon mutual agreement. It is therefore not a permanent employment contract but a fixed-term engagement with DTEK.
