The Associate NOC Engineer is responsible for monitoring IT infrastructure and application alerts, performing initial troubleshooting, and escalating issues as per defined SOPs. This role ensures quick response to incidents to maintain service availability. This position is located in Gurugram, HR, and is required to work a 24/7 rotational shift.
You Will Make an Impact By:
The Associate NOC Engineer is responsible for monitoring IT infrastructure and application alerts, performing initial troubleshooting, and escalating issues as per defined SOPs. This role ensures quick response to incidents to maintain service availability. This position is located in Gurugram, HR, and is required to work a 24/7 rotational shift.
You Will Make an Impact By:
- Monitor alerts from monitoring tools and dashboards.
- Validate alerts and determine severity.
- Perform first-level remediation such as:
- Restarting services.
- Clearing disk space.
- Basic log checks.
- Document actions taken in the ticketing system.
- Escalate unresolved issues to Level 2 with complete details.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for incident handling.
- Ensure timely communication and ticket updates.
- Basic knowledge of Windows/Linux OS.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds).
- Experience with monitoring and ITSM tools.
- Understanding of ITIL processes (Incident Management).
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work in a 24x7 shift environment.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science.
- 0–4 years of experience in IT support or NOC operations.
