The Network Engineer is responsible for advanced troubleshooting, configuration, and maintenance of network infrastructure and security devices. This role ensures high availability, performance, and security of enterprise networks.
You Will Make an Impact By:
- Handle escalated network incidents and service requests from Level 1.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain:
- Firewalls: Palo Alto, Fortinet, Juniper
- VPN and Secure Access: Prisma, Z-Scaler
- Switching & Routing: Cisco, HP Aruba
- Perform advanced diagnostics and resolve connectivity issues.
- Implement network security policies and firewall rules.
- Collaborate with security teams for threat mitigation and compliance.
- Document configurations, changes, and troubleshooting steps.
- Participate in major incident calls and provide technical expertise.
- Strong understanding of firewall technologies and security best practices.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Palo Alto Networks (including Panorama)
- Cisco routers and switches
- Prisma Access and Z-Scaler
- HP Aruba networking solutions
- Fortinet and Juniper firewalls
- Knowledge of VPN technologies, SSL/TLS, and secure remote access.
- Familiarity with network monitoring and ITSM tools.
- Ability to work under pressure and resolve complex issues quickly.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science or related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in network engineering and security.
- PCNSE (Palo Alto Certified Network Security Engineer)
- CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional)
- Fortinet NSE
- Z-Scaler Certified Professional
