The NOC Engineer provides advanced troubleshooting and resolution for escalated incidents. This role involves deeper analysis, applying fixes or workarounds, and ensuring service restoration within SLA. This role requires working a 24/7 rotational shift.
You Will Make an Impact By:
- Investigate and resolve incidents escalated by Level 1.
- Perform advanced diagnostics using logs, configurations, and scripts.
- Apply fixes or temporary workarounds to restore services.
- Escalate critical or widespread issues to Incident Manager.
- Collaborate with application, network, and infrastructure teams during major incidents.
- Document troubleshooting steps and resolution details.
- Contribute to knowledge base and SOP improvements.
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux OS and networking fundamentals.
- Good knowledge of AWS, Azure, Cloud computing.
- Experience with monitoring and ITSM tools.
- Ability to analyze logs and troubleshoot application/service issues.
- Basic scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python preferred).
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science.
- 3–6 years of experience in NOC or IT operations.
