In this role, you will lead the development and enhancement of a mobile-first platform designed to transform the business travel experience. You will collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and other engineers to reimagine core travel flows, delivering high-quality, cross-platform mobile features that delight users. Your work will involve building robust React Native components, leveraging native iOS/Android capabilities when needed, and ensuring exceptional performance, responsiveness, and consistency across devices. Accountabilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy customer-facing mobile features using React Native, enhancing core travel flows
- Ensure high performance, responsiveness, and cross-platform consistency on iOS and Android
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform-specific issues, integrating custom native modules where necessary
- Collaborate with designers and product managers to translate mockups and user stories into functional, production-ready code
- Conduct testing (unit, integration, UI) to maintain application stability and reliability
- Continuously optimize mobile experiences, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks and memory issues
- Contribute to improving development processes, documentation, and ways of working within the mobile team
- 5+ years of experience building mobile customer-facing applications
- Strong expertise in React Native and TypeScript
- Experience with native iOS or Android development is a plus
- Proficiency in building scalable, maintainable, and high-performing mobile applications
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
