Job Description: Network Operations Administrator (Italy)
Location: Turin, Italy
Hybrid: 1 day onsite per week, 4 days remote
Contract: Initial 10 month contract
Start Date: 1st February
We are seeking a skilled Network Operations Administrator to join our ICT Infrastructure Tower team across EMEA. The role involves supporting network operations, ensuring optimal performance, and maintaining high service levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitoring & Alerting: Continuously monitor infrastructure components using tools like Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, or Datadog to ensure uptime and performance, with automated alerting for issue detection.
- Incident Management: Handle network incidents with logging, prioritization, escalation, and resolution, ensuring adherence to SLAs and minimizing downtime.
- Change Management: Manage network infrastructure changes systematically, minimizing risk with structured approval processes and rollback procedures.
- Capacity Planning & Performance Tuning: Analyse LAN-WAN, Firewalls & VPN, and SASE usage trends to optimize resource allocation, identify bottlenecks, and enhance system performance.
- Documentation & Reporting: Produce regular reports on KPIs, incidents, changes, and performance metrics, ensuring clear documentation of processes and system updates.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with third-party vendors, assess their performance, and negotiate contracts to improve service levels and reduce costs.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in network operations or a similar role.
- Strong expertise in LAN-WAN, Cabling, PBX, Firewalls, VPN, NAC, SASE.
- Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools (Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, or Datadog).
- Proven track record in Network Incident Management, documentation, and vendor evaluation.
