This is a full time, permanent role based onsite at least 4 days per week from our office in Northampton.
What will I be doing as a Graduate Network Engineer.
- Support the monitoring, maintenance, and improvement of our core network infrastructure — including firewalls, LAN/WAN, VPNs, and load balancing.
- Assist with network performance monitoring and incident management, ensuring reliable connectivity across multiple sites.
- Get exposure to automation and scripting, contributing to small-scale improvements and efficiency initiatives.
- Support project delivery — from design and testing through to implementation and documentation.
- Collaborate with teams across the UK and Europe to support rollouts, installations, and optimisation activities.
- A degree (or equivalent) in IT, Computer Science, Networking, or a related field.
- A basic understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, firewalls).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an eagerness to learn and grow.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- A proactive, curious attitude towards learning new technologies.
- Desirable but not essential:
- CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or similar certifications.
- Exposure to Cisco ACI, Cisco DNA, or enterprise networking environments.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) or automation tools.
