Software Engineer III

Our client - a leading global pharmaceutical solutions organization ranked in the top of the Global Fortune 500 is seeking new members to join their team.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in software development, database design, and cloud infrastructure, with a proven ability to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop applications using technologies including Blazor, Razor, C#, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and MS SQL Server.
• Integrate third-party components and libraries, such as MudBlazor and Aspose.
• Translate project requirements into database table designs and work with stored procedures, queries, SQL functions, and ORM frameworks.
• Design, implement, unit test, document, and deploy applications and APIs based on functional requirements.
• Manage communication between client-side and server-side backend using Web APIs.
• Develop reusable library codes and components.
• Build Single Page Applications with a focus on cross-browser compatibility and responsive interfaces.
• Design and develop database applications using SQL Server Integration Services, TSQL, and Stored Procedures.
• Consult with business stakeholders to design logical solutions based on existing data architecture.
• Perform code reviews, analyze execution plans, and refactor inefficient code.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers in the development of software and applications.
• Follow data standards, resolve data issues, perform unit testing, and document system processes for ETL workflows.
• Assist managers with project development, including documentation of features, recording progress, and creating testing plans.
• Collaborate with business analysts, source system experts, and team members to determine data extraction and transformation requirements.
• Work with IT operations and testing teams to ensure timely project releases and sustainable database environments.
• Support IT staff and business users with the development, usage, and troubleshooting of database-driven applications.
• Create detailed designs, perform analyses, build prototypes, and document completed designs.
• Act as a senior team member, representing the organization on project teams and providing technical project leadership while fostering teamwork.
• Share knowledge on client requests, features, best practices, project scopes, and budgets.
• Contribute to the growth of the company by advancing personal skills, improving the codebase, and seeking opportunities to enhance tools and processes.
• Design, develop, and automate scalable data engineering solutions using cloud infrastructure.
• Extend or migrate existing data pipelines to a new cloud environment.
• Develop data models for program processes and entities and provide technical design and documentation.
• Optimize data asset performance and transfer knowledge of data access mechanisms to stakeholders and data scientists.
• Propose and implement solutions to improve data integrity issues.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in object-oriented programming and development.
• Proven experience with Blazor, Razor, C#, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and MS SQL Server.
• Strong knowledge of design patterns and common data structures.
• Experience with third-party components/libraries such as MudBlazor and Aspose.
• Proficiency in SQL development, including stored procedures, queries, functions, and ORM frameworks.
• Knowledge of building and managing APIs for client-server communication.
• Hands-on experience with Single Page Applications and responsive interfaces.
• Proficiency in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), TSQL, and ETL processes.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and data engineering solutions.
• Ability to optimize code, perform reviews, and refactor as needed.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to design scalable, sustainable database environments and data engineering pipelines
