As an Android Developer, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality native Android applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers and product designers, to ensure seamless integration, reliable performance, and intuitive user experiences. Accountabilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance native Android applications using Kotlin and/or Java
- Implement robust data collection protocols to ensure precise and consistent data flow
- Create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces that translate data insights into actionable experiences
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize device-app communication and performance
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve connectivity or performance issues
- Integrate user feedback and analytics to continuously refine and expand app functionality
- Ensure code quality, adherence to Android design patterns, and best practices
- 3+ years of professional experience in Android app development
- Strong knowledge of the Android SDK, lifecycle, and design patterns
- Proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java for Android development
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and offline storage mechanisms
- Familiarity with threading, performance optimization, and multi-device adaptation
- Experience with hardware-software integration projects
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
- Nice to have: experience with data visualization, Android automated testing, and security best practices for sensitive data handling
