Would you like to work for a cutting edge space and satellite manufacturer working on the development of highly software for use in avionics and communications systems?

The Role

SpaceTech are currently supporting a successful, growing satellite / space industry specialist consultancy with a growing client project list as well as propriety, re-usable architectures - applicable across the industry.

This is a role where space / satellite industry experience would be desirable but definitely not essential - the key skills are the thing that will really interest the hiring team....

Key tasks:

• Software development for embedded devices in the field of satellite communication
• Design and implementation of embedded software, networking device software, network management software and system software in an agile project team environment

Key skills

• Experience in designing software for embedded network devices
• Expert level C/C++ language skills
• Experience of safety-critical software environments - space / satellite, aerospace, medical, automotive
• Know-how in communication protocol design preferred
• Aspirations and or experience towards team leadership

Nice to have:

• Rust / Python
• Open to / experience in agile working - Jira / Git / CI/CD would be a plus
• Interest in the space / satellite industry
