The Role
We're hiring a cross-lateral designer — someone who works across the intersection of product design and marketing design to execute holistically on our campaigns. You will collaborate closely with both the Senior Director of Product Design on our product experience, design system and tools, as well as the Senior Manager of Art & Media on art direction, graphic design, and visual storytelling. This role is perfect for a nimble, highly creative thinker who can move fluidly between crafting campaign visuals and building out scalable digital systems. You'll bring big ideas and beautiful execution, whether for a high-impact public campaign or a seamless platform experience.
What You'll Do
Cross-Lateral Execution
- Collaborate cross-functionally with the Senior Director of Product Design, Senior Manager of Art & Media, and Campaign Managers to deeply understand the needs of a given campaign, from partner expectations to what messaging and tactics resonate with target audiences.
- Execute on campaigns holistically, from the marketing materials needed to grab each audience's attention through the site design of the landing page and advocacy tools.
- Work collaboratively to develop bold, impactful, and emotionally resonant campaign concepts that drive action across multiple touchpoints.
- Deliver impactful, high-quality creative across digital and print — engaging, performance-driven, and aligned with campaign objectives.
- Set a high bar for originality and scalability, pushing creative boundaries and driving innovation — from bold concepting to format experimentation and emerging tools.
- Leverage audience insights to shape creative direction, ensuring campaigns resonate across public, political, and grassroots audiences.
- Build modular design systems and adaptable templates in Figma that keep campaign visuals fresh, effective, and ready for rapid, cross-functional collaboration.
- Rapidly design visually compelling and clear presentation decks that communicate ideas, strategies, and narratives with impact.
- Leverage, grow, and maintain a design system of styles, components, and pages that make feature design and iteration efficient and consistent across all experiences — both on Only One and white-labeled partner sites.
- Produce hi-fidelity designs and interactive prototypes for our websites that respond across all screen sizes, align with future product direction, and demonstrably achieve product goals.
- Leverage UserTesting, Hotjar, and data analytics to inform design decisions, ensuring product solutions meet user needs and are usable and accessible.
- Create user flows, wireframes, site maps, customer journey maps, and other tools to guide the product development process.
- Collaborate with engineers to create technically feasible designs and support polished execution at a high standard.
We know designers bring different blends of experience across product and marketing design. Even if you don't meet every qualification in both areas, if you have strong skills in one, we encourage you to apply.
- At least 3–5 years of experience across B2C product design and art direction rooted in graphic and visual design.
- Proven track record designing beautiful, creative, and functional consumer-facing products and marketing that deliver personal and contextual experiences.
- Experience developing bold, emotionally resonant, and strategically impactful visual campaigns — from concept through execution.
- Strong ability to translate ideas and strategies into compelling visual narratives across digital, print, and presentation design that communicate with clarity and impact.
- Skilled in creating and maintaining design systems and templates; strong knowledge of current UX best practices, including usability and accessibility across mobile and desktop web.
- Highly proficient in Figma, with a willingness to learn other tools including Adobe Creative Suite, Framer, QGIS and other software.
- Experience with prototyping and taking a product from an idea through to launch and beyond.
- Willingness to flex hours in order to collaborate with a global team.
- You design for change. You understand the power of visual storytelling to shift narratives, build movements, and create meaningful impact — and that's what drives your work. You're not here to 'keep the aesthetic' — you want to communicate, persuade, and mobilize.
- You breathe design and craft. Your design work is bold, intentional, and precise. Whether it's a digital advocacy experience, a scroll-stopping mobile ad, a cheeky poster, or a billboard in Madrid, you sweat the details — the typography, the color, the rhythm of layout, the end-to-end experience. You're just as comfortable building long-form decks or editorial spreads as you are shipping high-performance assets.
- You move from concept to execution with ease. You work fluidly from brainstorm to build — fast, clear, and purposeful. Your work is grounded in strategy and emotion: designed to grab attention, spark connection, and drive action. You can clearly articulate your design decisions and welcome feedback and iteration.
- You are service-minded. You value diverse perspectives, build creatively in community, and deliver work that resonates. You aim to provide the best experience, both to end-users and to your peers. You can communicate effectively, build strong relationships, and adapt to challenging situations.
- You have a team ethos. You thrive in a fast-paced environment with people who are constantly looking to innovate, enjoy challenges, and demand excellence. We're a small and efficient team; every person plays an essential role in our organization. You bring humor, humility, and kindness to your work.
- Competitive salary ($65k – $80k USD, based on experience).
- Flexibility of remote work, with annual travel required for team reunions.
- Dynamic and inclusive work environment that fosters growth and collaboration.
- Paid parental leave and unlimited PTO are provided to support employee well-being and work-life balance.
- We provide comprehensive benefits tailored to your home country, which may include health insurance and retirement plans.
