A prestigious global consultancy located in the Walloon Region are seeking a Artificial Intelligence Engineer.

Job Description:

AI Engineer – Design, develop, and implement innovative AI solutions using GPT, Azure AI services, and advanced AI techniques. Work with interdisciplinary teams to create client-focused solutions that push AI boundaries.

• Rapidly prototype AI-to-UX scenarios for end users
• Engineer and optimize prompts for AI performance
• Design, develop, and implement solutions using Azure OpenAI and Azure services
• Integrate Azure AI services with existing systems
• Leverage data and AI tools to fulfill feature requirements
• Provide clear documentation of code, processes, and workflows
• Work with teams to understand project requirements and AI architecture goals
• Ensure seamless solution integration into existing environments
• Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions
• Follow development, security, and performance best practices
• Stay current with AI/ML trends and experiment with new techniques
• Maintain continuous learning through training and technological awareness
• Educate technical and business leaders on generative AI usage
• Collaborate with design and product teams to translate customer needs into technical AI solutions
• Co-create business use cases that benefit from generative AI
• Ensure appropriate AI complexity levels for each use case

Requirements:

• University degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or related field
• Practical experience designing and implementing AI projects using OpenAI or large language models
• In-depth knowledge of pre-trained language models (GPT) and their applications
• Expertise in Agentic Approach (OpenAI Agent SDK, MCP Tools)
• Experience with Azure AI services and integration into comprehensive solutions
• Proficiency in Python programming
• Strong prompt engineering expertise
• Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs for AI model interaction
• Ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills
• Proactive approach with strong initiative
• Adherence to software development standards using DevOps practices
• Experience with cloud architecture, Azure Functions, and SQL databases (preferred)
• Experience with Business Intelligence processes and ETL/ELT development (preferred)
