Business Analyst

VASS is actively looking for a Business Analyst to work for our client, EIB in Luxembourg.

Job description:

• Providing support to and solving users’ issues mainly in relation to the PJ-relevant areas of the Serapis core lending application
• Gathering and structuring business requirements, logging IT tickets and tracking their implementation
• Testing new IT releases of Serapis and other PJ-relevant lending applications

Tasks to be performed

The successful achievement of the objectives of the Assignment involves the following tasks:

* Provision of support to PJ users of the Front Office Lending Applications (currently Serapis, over the coming months also PEGA)

* Elaboration of user guidance / manuals / FAQs for PJ users of Front Office Lending Applications

* Analysis and documentation of user requirements for minor new IT developments or bug fixing

* Drafting the required project documentation (business case, user stories, test case document)

* Overseeing the implementation of projects and individual (maintenance) tickets

* Software testing of the Front Office Lending Applications (Serapis/PEGA)

Specific Requirements:

● Bachelor in business administration, computer science or other relevant field

● Advanced English skills (level C1).

● 2 years of experience in delivering IT developments for business users in the financial sector.

Preferred Qualifications / Experience:

● 1 year of experience in the field of technical support.

● Minimum 1 year of testing of IT applications in the financial sector.

● Advanced knowledge of IT development methodologies and practices, as well as a good understanding of the lending life cycle.

● Recommended knowledge of document management systems (SharePoint) and portals.

● Advanced knowledge of Waterfall and Agile project methodologies.

● Advanced knowledge of process or Data Modelling techniques (BPMN, UML, Conceptual Data Modelling, etc.)

● Recommended knowledge of French (level B2).
