To support our mission and scale our innovation, we are looking for a Working Student – Data Engineering (Part-time, Remote).


Job Requirements

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Good understanding of SQL - Must have
  • Familiarity with Python, Go, or similar programming languages.
  • Experience with relational databases
  • A strong desire to learn about data engineering, data warehousing, and data modeling.
  • A proactive and collaborative mindset, with a passion for problem-solving.
  • Very good spoken and written English


Nice to have Add - On Skills

  • Experience with cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Familiarity with data processing frameworks like dbt, job orchestration tools like Airflow.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of our data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes to ensure data is successfully replicated to our data warehouse.
  • Provide support to users of the data warehouse requiring access to data relevant and necessary for their roles.
  • Collaborate with the data team to investigate and resolve data-related issues, such as data discrepancies, data anomalies, or pipeline failures.
  • Contribute to the automation of data-related tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reliability.
  • Help with the documentation of our data architecture, data flows, and data models.
