The Mission
A Dublin-based HealthTech company on a mission to transform how healthcare is delivered and experienced through technology. As Chief Technology Officer, you’ll lead the technical vision, architecture, and strategy that powers our next phase of growth: building scalable, secure, and impactful digital health solutions that make a real difference in people’s lives.
The Opportunity
This is a pivotal leadership role in a business entering a period of rapid expansion. You’ll define and execute our technology roadmap, lead an exceptional engineering team that will grow, and ensure the platform is robust, compliant, and ready to scale internationally.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and deliver the company’s technology strategy and roadmap, aligned with overall business goals.
- Lead, scale, and inspire a growing engineering organisation across multiple disciplines.
- Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of our core HealthTech platform and data systems.
- Oversee architecture, cloud infrastructure, and data governance, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations (GDPR, ISO 27001, etc.).
- Foster a high-performance, inclusive, and mission-driven engineering culture.
- Evaluate and introduce emerging technologies to drive innovation and competitive advantage.
- Represent technology at board level, providing insight on technical risk, investment, and opportunity.
About You
You’re a visionary technologist with a strong operational mindset. You’ve built and scaled technology teams and platforms (specifically in HealthTech) and you’re motivated by impact and purpose.
You combine deep technical experience with a people-first leadership style, and you know how to balance innovation with reliability in a regulated environment.
Experience & Skills
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering or technology leadership roles, with at least 3+ years at Director/CTO level.
- Strong background in software architecture, data engineering, and modern development practices.
- Experience in HealthTech, MedTech, or healthcare data (FHIR, HL7, EMR/EHR systems) a requirement
- Excellent understanding of security, compliance, and data privacy frameworks.
- Commercially minded and comfortable engaging with investors, partners, and customers.
- Empathetic, collaborative, and passionate about technology’s potential to improve lives.
The Offer
- €175-200k base salary (depending on experience)

Process: TBC but likely 4 rounds with the first two being virtual/exploratory and the subsequent rounds being in-person in Dublin
