Overview:
Amova Asset Management is a unique asset management firm, head-quartered in Tokyo and with a global presence. Following the recent opening of our Irish entity, Amova Ireland is seeking a Business Analyst to join our small local team. The successful individual will primarily support the Risk, Compliance and Finance functions of Amova Ireland as they conduct their regulated activities. The Business Analyst will have an opportunity to work, not only in close partnership with the local Amova team, but also teams across the EMEA region. This is an exciting early career opportunity which will offer the incumbent both a great insight into the business of asset management and its regulated functions, as well as tangible experience within a global organisation. Amova Ireland operate a hybrid working model with three days a week in the office and we are committed to support the learning and development of our team. Core Responsibilities
- Supporting the Risk Management Framework
- Supporting business functions with risk appetite management
- Assisting with ORP issue management
- Supporting the Compliance Monitoring Plan
- Undertaking testing of policies and procedures
- Following up on findings
- Updating the Plan
- Supporting regulatory reporting via the CBI online portal
- Supporting other regulatory compliance matters as and when required, including ad-hoc project work
- Supporting finance related administration

Key skills and attributes:
- Ideally Graduate degree or equivalent
- Circa 1-2 years experience within financial services – ideally within a risk, compliance or finance function
- Motivated and confident self starter
- Demonstrable interest in financial services ideal with an interest in compliance, risk or finance a distinct advantage
- Second (non-English) language an advantage
