Job Responsibilities

Join our dynamic Marketing and Consumer data Engine team! As a newly formed team, we are focused on leveraging data-driven insights to optimize marketing strategy and enhance data-driven decision making in De’Longhi Group.

Role Overview:

As a Data visualization Intern, you will work closely with our MCDE(Martech and Consumer Data Engine) team to support data-driven projects. You’ll be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and visualizing data to create actionable insights. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in data analysis, SQL, cloud data storage (BigQuery), and data visualization tools such as Looker Studio.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis & Visualization:

  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, correlations, and business insights.
  • Create and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Looker Studio.
  • Transform raw data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders across different departments.

SQL & Database Management:

  • Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from databases.
  • Work with Google BigQuery to manage and query large datasets efficiently.
  • Perform data cleaning, validation, and quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Reporting & Documentation:

  • Design and automate reports and dashboards for various business teams.
  • Assist in the development of ad-hoc analysis and reporting based on business requirements.
  • Document processes, best practices, and dashboard specifications.

Collaboration & Support:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver insights.
  • Provide analytical support to other teams and assist with decision-making processes.

Job Profile

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating data.
  • Hands-on experience with Google BigQuery or other cloud-based data warehouses.
  • Familiarity with Looker Studio (formerly Data Studio) for creating dashboards and reports.
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights clearly.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • English proficiency

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

  • Experience with other data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Familiarity with data modeling and ETL processes.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or R for data analysis is a plus.
