Position overview:
Green Genius is seeking a Head of Asset Management to lead its European portfolio of operating solar and wind assets. The role sets direction for portfolio performance and governance, providing focused leadership across markets and teams to ensure disciplined execution and sustained value creation.
As a Head of Asset Management, your main responsibilities will be:
- Ensure the solar and wind asset portfolio's commercial performance and value growth against annual targets
- Monitor and optimize assets performance with Commercial and O&M teams across the lifecycle, proactively identifying and resolving commercial issues
- Participate in budgeting process and reporting, including deviation analysis, forecasting, and regular performance reviews
- Manage contracts and service providers: negotiate operating agreements, oversee contract administration, and ensure third-party asset management providers' performance and quality
- Ensure compliance: handle regulatory reporting and communication with local regulators and DSO/TSO; support insurance process (coverage data, claims, documentation)
- Establish and improve asset management processes and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders (land lessors, contractors, regulatory bodies)
- University degree required; a degree in Business, Finance, Economics (or related field) is an advantage.
- At least two years' experience in asset management (renewables preferred; commercial real estate experience also considered)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing situations
- The following would be an advantage: understanding of energy markets, policy and regulation; knowledge of renewable assets operation; proficiency in Polish
