Data Analyst

Job Description:

The Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and interpreting data to generate actionable insights that support business decision-making. The role focuses on designing and maintaining data pipelines in Airflow for data extraction, processing, and loading, ensuring their reliability and performance. The professional will collaborate closely with end-users and technical teams to provide accurate, accessible, and meaningful data for strategic and operational purposes.

Main Tasks:

• Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines in Apache Airflow for extraction, processing, and loading activities.
• Optimize Python code and SQL queries to improve data processing efficiency.
• Generate analytical insights to identify trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities in business operations.
• Deliver data in structured and visually engaging formats to enhance user experience and support decision-making.
• Understand and assess business change requests, evaluate their impact, and estimate implementation costs.

Technical Skills:

• Python (including API development)
• PySpark
• SQL / Oracle Database
• Data Warehouse design and management
• Apache Airflow (pipeline development and maintenance)
• Git version control
• Agile methodologies

Language Skills:

• English: B2 minimum

Hybrid model — 2x per week at the office in Lisbon
