We’re Marley Spoon, a food-tech company on a mission to help people cook better, eat smarter, and waste less. Since 2014, we’ve grown into a global meal kit platform that delivers flexible, personalized recipes to customers across six countries.
Behind every box is a network of intelligent systems, built by lean, cross-functional teams who care deeply about customer experience, sustainability, and quality.
Our Data Tribe plays a key role in making that happen, one model, one insight, one experiment at a time.
We Believe In
- Building for impact, not just output
- Working closely across teams and disciplines
- Using data to solve real problems, not chase hype
As a Data Analyst in our Data Tribe, you’ll turn data into insights that drive decisions across Product, Marketing, Operations, and Engineering. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to design analyses, build dashboards, and run experiments that uncover what truly moves the needle for our customers and business.
You’ll also have the opportunity to expand into advanced analytics and experimentation, working alongside data scientists and analysts to explore causal inference, A/B testing, and quasi-experimental methods.
This is a hands-on role with space to learn, experiment, and grow. You’ll take real ownership, from shaping hypotheses to communicating insights that directly influence strategy.
You’ll Be Part Of a Team That
- Translates business questions into data analyses and experiments
- Works iteratively, sharing learnings and feedback early
- Balances curiosity with a clear sense of value and impact
You’ll contribute to projects that shape how we serve millions of customers and run our operations efficiently. From experimentation to forecasting to self-serve analytics, your work will help the business make smarter, faster, and more informed decisions.
Here’s What You’ll Work On
- Experimentation & Insights: Design, analyze, and interpret A/B tests and quasi-experiments that guide product and marketing decisions.
- Self-Serve Analytics: Build and maintain dashboards and data models in Looker to empower teams with reliable, actionable insights.
- Customer Behavior Analysis: Identify trends and opportunities across acquisition, retention, and engagement using data from Snowflake and Amplitude.
- Operational Analytics: Support demand forecasting, fulfillment, and supply chain analysis to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Collaboration: Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Marketers to ensure data is used effectively in everyday decisions.
You’re a data-driven thinker who loves uncovering stories hidden in the numbers. You’re comfortable working with stakeholders across disciplines, and you know how to balance analytical rigor with practical business needs. You’re excited to experiment, measure, and learn.
We Think You’ll Thrive Here If You Have
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics, preferably in a tech or e-commerce environment
- Strong SQL and solid experience with BI tools (Looker preferred)
- Hands-on experience working with data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake)
- Proficiency with experimentation design and analysis (A/B tests, causal inference, or quasi-experimental methods)
- Familiarity with Python for deeper analyses a plus
- Strong communication skills: you can explain complex concepts clearly and visually
- A growth mindset and a genuine interest in how data drives real-world impact
We care about building a workplace that supports both growth and balance. Here’s what we offer:
- Hybrid flexibility: Remote + in-office collaboration in Lisbon
- Paid time off: 22 vacation days + 2 extra per year of tenure (up to 6)
- Learning support: 5 paid training days per year
- Private health insurance: Provided by Allianz
- Meal allowance: €7.62 per worked day
- Wellbeing: 24/7 confidential employee assistance program
