About the Role
Step into the early stages of a greenfield project where innovation is at the core. We’re designing a cloud-based solution that redefines how change is managed and experienced. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you’ll be instrumental in laying down the foundations of the system—building scalable services and shaping an architecture that will grow with the product.
What You’ll Do
- Architect, deliver, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services in Node.js.
- Build infrastructure on AWS and streamline delivery pipelines with CI/CD.
- Create data mapping scripts and ETL jobs to integrate external sources into a semantic graph database (Neptune).
- Collaborate in agile ceremonies—planning, reviews, and retrospectives—while influencing technical direction.
- Contribute to shaping the technical roadmap from day one.
What You Bring
- Strong expertise with AWS services and cloud infrastructure.
- Proven experience in backend development with REST APIs.
- Familiarity with GitHub Actions or other CI/CD tooling.
- (Nice to have) Knowledge of Docker/ECS, SPARQL queries, or Pulumi.
- A builder’s mindset—comfortable with ambiguity, eager to design systems from scratch.
