We are building a brand-new consumer-facing legal-tech SaaS platform designed to simplify complex legal transitions for individuals and families. At this stage, our primary focus is deep discovery and research—understanding legal frameworks, mapping workflows, conducting product research, and identifying opportunities across the legal-tech landscape, especially in family law.
As the mini-CEO of this product, you will own the full product lifecycle—from ideation to scale. You will translate legal complexity into intuitive user experiences, define and deliver detailed product requirements, plan and lead sprints, analyze user behavior, and continuously refine the product to achieve product-market fit. This is a unique opportunity to lay the foundation for a transformative legal-tech product that blends technology, content, and human-centered design to make legal processes approachable and actionable.
About us
At Taroko, we’re a fast-moving global venture studio building and scaling transformative digital products across industries. We are now incubating a new legal-tech SaaS platform designed to guide individuals and families through complex legal processes and life transitions. Inspired by Silicon Valley startup culture and founded in Taipei City, our team of engineers, designers, and product experts doesn’t just build products—we craft experiences, design solutions, and back startups that are redefining industries with cutting-edge, regulatory-focused technology.
We pride ourselves on a culture that values curiosity, collaboration, and continuous learning. If you’re passionate about shaping a product from the ground up in a supportive, fast-paced environment, this is your chance to make a real impact on how people navigate legal complexities.
Why We’re Different
We aren’t chasing short-term hype or burning VC money to find product-market fit. We’re profitable, organized, and here for the long run. We invest in sustainable growth, genuine innovation, and an ownership mentality that ensures our team can do things differently—and be rewarded for it. By building products in-house, we have the freedom to focus on creating meaningful, lasting value for users.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end MVP development, including market research, competitor analysis, legal workflow design, product strategy, pricing, and launch execution.
- Conduct in-depth research in the legal-tech and family law space to identify user pain points, market gaps, and innovation opportunities.
- Translate legal frameworks and user insights into compliant, user-friendly product flows and prototypes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, legal, marketing, and leadership) to refine the product vision and roadmap.
- Drive go-to-market strategies to establish product-market fit and sustainable growth.
- Analyze key metrics across the user lifecycle (acquisition, activation, retention) to optimize engagement and revenue.
- Maintain a user-obsessed mindset, ensuring the product is empathetic, trustworthy, and easy to navigate.
- 3–4+ years of Product Management experience in legal-tech or closely related industries (e.g., reg-tech, compliance, or contract automation). Experience in legal tech is a must.
- Legal educational background or law degree strongly preferred, with the ability to understand and interpret legal frameworks and integrate them into product design and workflows.
- Proven track record in defining, shipping, and iterating SaaS products from concept to scale.
- Strong skills in product research, competitive analysis, and market discovery, with a keen understanding of the legal services landscape.
- Hands-on ability to communicate ideas through prototypes and wireframes (Figma, Miro, or similar tools).
- Strategic thinker with strong prioritization and execution skills, balancing product impact with technical feasibility.
- Entrepreneurial and data-driven mindset, comfortable with ambiguity and working in fast-moving startup environments.
- Experience with growth experimentation, funnel analysis, and data analytics across the product lifecycle.
- Experience working with startup teams or outsourced engineering resources.
