Role Description

We are seeking an experienced PSA Engineer – Network/Transmission to join our team in Bucharest. The role involves advanced software development, customization, and delivery of Power Systems Applications (PSA) for Transmission within Energy Management Systems (EMS), preferably using e-terra AEMS – Reliance. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in power system analysis, software engineering, and direct collaboration with electric utilities, ISOs, or TSOs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver Power Systems Applications for Transmission (e.g., Load Flow, Contingency Analysis, Power Factor Correction, etc.).
• Customize and implement AEMS (Reliance) or equivalent power system applications to meet customer requirements.
• Collaborate with customers (Utilities, ISOs, TSOs) to define functional software specifications and ensure successful project execution.
• Perform software design, coding, unit testing, integration, and performance tuning in both Linux and Windows environments.
• Participate in issue resolution and daily technical discussions with clients; manage change control and compliance processes.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by providing robust and efficient solutions aligned with project deliverables and timelines.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in customizing and delivering Energy Management Systems, preferably e-terra AEMS – Reliance.
• Proven experience working with Power Systems Applications for Transmission — including Load Flow, Contingency Analysis, Power Factor, etc.
• Minimum 2 years of implementation and customization experience in Power Systems Applications.
• Strong proficiency in C++, Java, or other relevant programming languages.
• Solid understanding of Linux and Windows Operating Systems.
• Excellent communication and customer engagement skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within international project teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with European or NATO power systems projects.
• Knowledge of Reliance or e-terrra AEMS architecture and APIs.
• Exposure to Transmission Network modeling, system performance tuning, or real-time data integration.
