Salary: £400- £600 per day + Expenses & Benefits

The Company

Loom Talent are actively supporting a leading 3PL client on a Warehouse Project and Implementation Manager (New Start Up - 9 Month FTC) vacancy, with this person responsible for opening a new flagship DC Operation.

The Warehouse Project and Implementation Manager (New Start Up - 9 Month FTC) will lead a large and complex Contract Logistics implementation projects across the European region - overseeing delivery from investment approval through to go-live and transition into operational ownership.

You'll be responsible for end-to-end project execution - covering planning, delivery, risk and financial management - across both greenfield and leased warehouse sites. Success will rely on strong cross-functional coordination, stakeholder management, and a hands-on approach to delivery in a fast-moving environment.

You'll also support the regional leadership team in developing capability within the implementation function and driving best practice across the wider organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of accountability for project delivery - ensuring all milestones, budgets, and time lines are achieved.
  • Define, develop, and execute detailed implementation strategies, plans, and handovers.
  • Proactively manage internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, contractors, and local authorities.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, and operational requirements.
  • Oversee supplier and contractor performance against agreed service levels.
  • Maintain rigorous focus on risk management, cost control, and governance.
  • Share knowledge, promote best practice, and contribute to continuous improvement across the project management community.

The Candidate

  • Have a Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain background - Essential.
  • Be comfortable working on a 9 month FTC basis, with the assignment commencing between Nov 2025 - Jan 2026 - Essential.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale warehouse or contract logistics implementation projects in an international setting - Essential.
  • Strong operational understanding of warehouse processes, systems, and technologies - Essential.
  • Project management certification (Prince2, PMI, or equivalent) - Advantageous.
  • Skilled in using Microsoft Project or similar project planning tools - Advantageous.
  • Confident communicator, able to engage effectively with senior stakeholders - Essential.
  • Strong leadership, influencing, and negotiation skills with sound commercial judgement - Essential.
  • Excellent written and spoken Swedish: additional European language skills are an advantage including English - Essential.
  • Commutable within the Strängnäs, Sweden area - Essential.
