Responsibilities
- Analyze new vulnerabilities in open-source Go, rate impact, and track fixes
- Backport upstream patches to earlier versions and ensure tests pass
- Research exploitation and malware trends, then publish practical mitigations/detections
- Expand coverage of Go apps and plugins, including Kubernetes/cloud-native components
- 4+ years with Golang building and maintaining systems/back-end codebases
- 4+ years total in software engineering or security research
- Experience with security patching and systematic backporting
- Proficiency with Git and CI/CD (Jenkins or GitLab), including pipeline maintenance
- Solid practice with unit and integration testing
- Experience with Kubernetes/cloud-native components and plugins
- English B2+
- Familiarity with the vulnerability lifecycle (CVE, CVSS) and patch management
- Experience with Kubernetes and the broader cloud-native stack
- Hands-on vulnerability research in Go applications
- Contributions to or maintenance of open-source Go/Kubernetes projects
