Senior Relationship Manager - Real Estate

£Salary to £110000 + Good Bonus + Excellent pension & Benefits

Are you looking to relocate to London? Our client is a growing London bank with an excellent reputation and excellent team environment where everybody counts towards the bank’s success. They have a newly created role due to growth and expansion to join their dynamic commercial real estate lending team. They are looking for an experienced relationship manager to be responsible for managing and developing relationships with clients across the whole of the Nordic region. The primary objective will be to drive business growth and increase market share in these key markets, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. You will aslo be involved in the UK Commercial real estate market place.


SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

-Minimum 5 years banking experience

-Must have a strong background in credit analysis, and team-working ability.

-A good knowledge of commercial real estate lending

-Proven credit analysis skills and experience of preparation of credit reports for credit -committees / credit departments

-Proven experience in working with Scandinavian investment-grade corporate clients, with a strong understanding of their financial needs and market dynamics would be useful.

-Good university degree


THE ROLE

This position is crucial for expanding the bank's Scandinavian presence by offering bespoke financial solutions and fostering enduring client relationships. You'll report to the London-based Head of Corporate & Commercial Real Estate Banking, focusing on client management, deal execution, and identifying growth prospects in the region's corporate banking sector. Occasional support for UK/Irish markets and travel within Scandinavia may be required.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Analysis and Transaction Management:

- Process credit applications, conduct KYC, and manage documentation for Scandinavian corporate loans and deposits

- Perform thorough credit assessments of investment-grade companies

- Orchestrate complex financing deals and prepare detailed credit proposals

Client Relations:

- Cultivate and oversee a portfolio of Scandinavian investment-grade corporate clients

- Serve as the primary client liaison, understanding and addressing their financial needs

- Spearhead client interactions, negotiations, and represent the bank at industry events

Strategic Development:

- Track market trends and regulatory shifts to uncover business opportunities

- Formulate strategies to increase market share and enhance product offerings

- Collaborate with internal teams to create tailored financial solutions

Compliance/Financial Crime:

- Support Corporate Banking's first-line defence against financial crime through AML and sanctions procedures
