iOS Developer (Banking)

Our client is a top financial institution with significant North American holdings. They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private client, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking.

Introduction: Robertson is seeking a skilled IT - iOS Engineer IV to join our client.

Contract Period: 12 months with potential to extend or convert

Location: Toronto, ON

Location Type: Hybrid; currently 3 days in office, 4 days a week in office, and 1 day work from home coming year 2026

Business Hours: Monday-Friday; Core Business Hours

Job Responsibilities:

• 8 years in Design and develop mobile applications for the iOS platform
• Design, development, and maintenance of mobile solutions that support insurance products and services offered to our customers
• Collaborate with UX, API, QE, and other mobile developers to deliver high-quality, secure, and user-centric mobile experiences
• Ensure application is safe and secure; comply with regulatory requirements, data privacy standards, and security best practices
• Optimize mobile applications for performance and scalability
• Support the entire SDLC application cycle
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and CICD processes
• Accessibility standards adhere to WCAG 2.1 standards

Experience & Qualification Requirement:

• Post secondary degree
• Certified Agile development
• 8-10 Years of Relevant Experience
• Banking or financial institution is an asset
• Experience in a supervisory role or Team Lead
