DevOps Engineer | Contract

Job Scope

• Coordinate and manage the end-to-end CI/CD pipeline for all Salesforce applications, working with various vendor teams.
• Lead release planning, scheduling, and communication to ensure alignment across all stakeholders.
• Utilize CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, and Bitbucket to automate deployments and maintain a robust, repeatable process.
• Proactively identify and resolve deployment issues and implement rollback strategies and post-deployment health checks.
• Ensure all changes adhere to organizational standards and Salesforce best practices.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and audit trails for all deployment activities.
• Oversee the health and synchronization of all Salesforce environments.
• Manage sandbox refreshes and ensure metadata consistency. Implement and monitor proactive measures to maintain system integrity and performance across all stages of the pipeline.

Job Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent with 5 or more years of experience in DevOps or development
• CI/CD Expertise: Proficiency in Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket, and other tools for continuous integration and continuous delivery.
• Excellent understanding of Salesforce release cycles, change sets, and metadata management.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex deployment challenges and drive them to resolution.
• In-depth knowledge of Apex, LWC, Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL, and the Salesforce Metadata API is advantageous
