We are seeking an experienced Backend LAMP Stack Developer with strong technical acumen, analytical thinking, and a commitment to excellence. This individual will play a pivotal role in architecting and implementing the server-side components that power our web and application projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise across PHP, Laravel, MySQL, Node.js, and JavaScript frameworks, with a working knowledge of Angular and Vue.js. Some Linux system admin experience is helpful.

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems and APIs using PHP (Laravel) and related technologies
• Collaborate closely with front-end developers, project managers, and designers to translate business requirements into robust, maintainable solutions
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs to support both web and mobile platforms
• Implement and manage data models and queries in MySQL and PostgreSQL
• Contribute to code reviews, performance tuning, and system architecture discussions
• Support and refactor existing legacy applications as needed
• Maintain strong version control practices using Git
• Work within a Linux development environment and participate in deployment processes, which include local, staging, and live.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, object-oriented programming, and application architecture
• Proficiency with PHP, Laravel, MySQL, JavaScript, Node.js, Vue.js, and Angular. We do some mobile app work so experience with them is helpful.
• Solid experience with Linux, Git, and version control workflows
• Experience building secure, scalable, and high-performance applications
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. You will occasionally be brought into client meetings.
