Senior PHP/Laravel Developer- Dallas TX

Our client — a fast-growing tech company leveraging the Ignite platform — is seeking an experienced Senior PHP/Laravel Developer to join their dynamic team. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain new features across multiple subsystems using the Ignite platform.
• Deliver clean, well-documented, and test-driven code to ensure stability and scalability.
• Partner with other developers to implement and continuously reinforce best practices across the team.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and solution planning.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional PHP web development experience (object-oriented, scalable, and secure).
• 3+ years of experience with Laravel.
• 3+ years working with MySQL or other relational databases.
• Experience with reactive JavaScript frameworks (Alpine.js preferred).
• Proficiency in Git or Bitbucket for source control.
• Solid understanding of application architecture, SOLID principles, and RESTful API integration.
• Hands-on experience writing unit and functional tests.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with the Laravel ecosystem (Homestead, Forge, Envoyer, Horizon, etc.) and packages (Mix, Dusk, Echo, Scout, Passport, Socialite, etc.).
• Experience with queues/workers (Supervisor and Redis preferred).
• Front-end knowledge: HTML, CSS (LESS/SASS), Bootstrap, jQuery, and build tools (Gulp, Grunt, Webpack).
• Exposure to AWS and Redis environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
