Role Description

This is a full-time remote (Global) role for a Chief Operating Officer (COO) located in the New York City Metropolitan Area. We are seeking a Founding Operational Partner and Architect to serve as the execution engine for a rapidly scaling creative venture. We possess the hardest asset in media: a deeply engaged, 400,000+ person audience built on high-value IP. This is a high-leverage partnership. The COO will work closely with executives to align business planning and operations with the organization's strategic goals.

Core Responsibilities

As acting COO your success will be measured by the establishment of scalable, repeatable systems that result in successful venture launches and a fundable structure:

• Venture Structuring: Formalize the core holding company, establish clean financial reporting, and define the cap table/option pool to prepare for institutional investment.
• Capital Strategy: Develop the comprehensive Venture Plan and precise financial models necessary to attract and secure the major funding and investments.
• Process Engineering: Design and implement streamlined workflows and SOPs to efficiently launch new ventures and monetize IP with minimal friction.
• Initial Talent Build: Recruit and onboard the first essential hires (e.g., Project Managers, Tech Leads) required to execute the first Flagship Project (Project Alpha).
• Financial management: Oversee burn rate, budgeting, and ensure clear, data-driven financial projections that support aggressive scale-up goals.

Required Qualifications

We are looking for a high-velocity operator whose track record demonstrates an ability to build scalable systems in the media or creator economy:

• Executive Experience: 5+ years in a senior operational role (COO, VP Ops, Chief of Staff), with demonstrated success in high-growth, early-stage companies.
• Education: Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field is preferred. Familiarity with the creative or studio industry is a plus
• Scale-Up Track Record: Proven ability to build and scale business units or product lines across multiple regions.
• Monetization Architecture: Deep expertise at the intersection of consumer psychology/behavioral science, global brand development, micro-influencer strategy, and high-ROI marketing to convert audience traffic into scalable revenue streams.
• Venture Fluency: Strong understanding of early-stage corporate structure, equity dynamics, and venture financing diligence.
• Leadership: Exceptional ability to operate independently, prioritizing high-impact activity and managing complex projects with full ownership.
• Fractional Mindset: Excels at high-leverage work, focusing on architecture and systems rather than day-to-day administrative maintenance.
