Android Developer - REMOTE

Pay: $51.85/hour. W2 Only.

100% remote.

Must be able to work without sponsorship - no sponsorship is available for this role.

Duration: 6 months. Extensions based on performance and business need.

We are looking for a skilled software engineer who can work with other teams on all levels of the organization to help develop tools with our client's application that supports warehouse operations. This is an Android application with potentially some Web development.

Requirements

2+ years of development experience working with Android applications is required.

Must have database experience, focus on MySQL

Kotlin/Java + MVVM are required.

Android Studio development - including some UI creation experience is required.

Good soft skills are needed. Fast learner, using Initiative and being able to work independently and produce innovative solutions to ongoing problems.

Experience With Version Control (git Based) Preferred.

Experience with JSON/GSON/ REST APIs needed.

Preferred skills:

Experience with supply chain applications, Django/Vue, Kubernetes, Azure Dev Ops, Web-sockets, event driven architecture and component lifecycle

Education: Bachelor's Degree Preferred
