What you can expect as a UX/UI Designer:

User Experience & Interaction Design

  • Lead the end-to-end design process for web and mobile applications, from initial concept and wireframing through to high-fidelity prototypes.
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and feedback sessions to validate and refine designs.
  • Define interaction patterns, workflows, and information architecture that enhance usability and reduce friction.
  • Advocate for accessibility (WCAG standards) and inclusive design in all deliverables.

Visual & Interface Design

  • Deliver pixel-perfect, visually compelling UI designs that align with our design system and brand guidelines.
  • Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and production-ready design assets in Figma.
  • Develop and maintain reusable design components and shared libraries in Figma to ensure consistency across platforms.
  • Collaborate with engineers to ensure accurate implementation of UI designs, providing detailed specifications and redlines when necessary.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with marketing, product managers and engineers to understand requirements, scope work, and define priorities.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews) as a design representative.
  • Provide design reviews and feedback during development to ensure fidelity to design intent.
  • Act as a bridge between design and engineering, balancing aesthetic goals with technical feasibility.

Leadership & Mentorship

  • Mentor junior UX/UI designers, providing feedback and guidance on design skills, process, and career development.
  • Contribute to the creation and refinement of design processes, guidelines, and standards across the organization.
  • Champion design thinking and user-centered methodologies across product teams.

What we are looking for as a UX/UI Designer:

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of professional UX/UI design experience, preferably in enterprise or SaaS product environments.
  • Proven expertise in Figma for wireframing, prototyping, design systems, and collaboration.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design, including user research, wireframes, high-fidelity UI, and interactive prototypes.
  • Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, accessibility standards, and interaction patterns for responsive web and mobile apps.
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into intuitive, elegant design solutions.
  • Experience collaborating closely with engineers, with knowledge of how UI designs are implemented in modern front-end frameworks (React, Next.js, Flutter, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to present and defend design decisions to stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to balance user needs with business goals.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in insurance, fintech, or other regulatory-driven industries.
  • Familiarity with design tokens, component-driven design systems, and scalable UI frameworks.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and front-end technologies to bridge design and engineering.
  • Experience running user testing sessions, surveys, or other research methodologies.
  • Comfort with agile/scrum methodologies and product discovery practices.
