We are looking for a detail-oriented Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our client's team in Windsor, Connecticut. In this Contract-to-continuous position, you will play a vital role in supporting HR operations, ensuring smooth processes, and maintaining employee satisfaction. Responsibilities:
• Facilitate onboarding processes to ensure new employees have a seamless transition into the organization.
• Maintain and update HR records and systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Conduct background checks and verify employment eligibility for prospective hires.
• Provide support in handling employee relations issues, offering guidance and assistance as needed.
• Collaborate with HR team members to implement and monitor HR initiatives and programs.
• Assist in managing the Human Resources Information System (HRIS), ensuring data integrity and functionality.
• Respond to employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and procedures, providing timely and accurate information.
• Organize and maintain documentation related to employee files, ensuring confidentiality and proper filing.
• Support recruitment efforts by coordinating interviews and communicating with candidates.
• Contribute to improving HR processes and workflows to enhance overall efficiency.
• Proficiency in managing HRIS systems and maintaining accurate records.
• Strong understanding of onboarding procedures and related processes.
• Ability to handle employee relations with professionalism and discretion.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Familiarity with HR policies, labor laws, and best practices.
• Capability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
