We are looking for a Senior JavaScript Developer to join EPAM’s team and contribute to innovative, high-impact projects.

This role involves leveraging modern JavaScript technologies to design and develop scalable, efficient applications. The ideal candidate is motivated by solving complex technical challenges, writing clean code, and delivering exceptional user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain highly scalable and efficient web applications using JavaScript
• Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and other stakeholders to deliver complete solutions
• Create reusable components and libraries to enhance development efficiency
• Optimize applications to ensure high performance and scalability across various platforms
• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across multiple environments
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in JavaScript and associated technologies
• Contribute to the design and implementation of technical architecture for new projects

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in JavaScript development
• Proficiency in JavaScript for frontend development, including frameworks and libraries
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript for building scalable and maintainable systems
• Hands-on experience with Node.js for backend programming
• Solid understanding of HTML and CSS for crafting responsive and accessible web interfaces
• Experience with unit testing frameworks and tools to ensure code quality
• Familiarity with build tools such as Webpack, Gulp, or Grunt
• Knowledge of database integration and working with databases in JavaScript-based environments
• Experience with backend frameworks including Express, NestJS, Koa, or Meteor
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• English proficiency at a B2+ level or higher, both written and spoken

Nice to have

• Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions
• Understanding of serverless architecture and related technologies
