Hard Skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field;
  • 5+ years of experience in Python development;
  • 1+ year as a team or tech lead, BA, Technical Project Manager or Scrum Master;
  • Deep understanding of AI/ML engineering from both development and client perspective;
  • Well-developed presentation and explanation skills;
  • Knowledge of infrastructure architecture, cloud solutions, or systems engineering;
  • Proven experience delivering projects using Agile / Scrum methodologies;
  • Familiarity with .NET and React stacks — able to liaise confidently with technical teams;
  • Strong understanding of AI project lifecycles, from prototyping through deployment;
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills;
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders;
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills with a focus on quality and efficiency;
  • At least upper intermediate English.

Nice To Have

  • 5+ years’ experience managing software development projects, ideally in EdTech, SaaS, or AI-enabled platforms;
  • Experience as a Scrum Master or a technical project manager;
  • Background in education technology or learning-management systems;
  • Experience integrating AI/ML features (e.g., chat-based learning, adaptive assessments, or content personalisation);
  • PMP, Prince2, or Agile certification (Scrum Master / PMI-ACP).

Responsibilities

  • Organize and lead the work of the AI team responsible for Python-based AI services, thereby supporting the integration of effective AI models, ensuring they meet user-experience and compliance standards;
  • Manage and plan the scope of work, define tasks for the team members, and track/ensure their correct completion through the sprint cycles, ensuring on-time and quality-aligned delivery;
  • Assist and monitor the progress of the team, removing blockers where necessary;
  • Communicate and coordinate effectively with other cross-functional teams to ensure productive collaboration;
  • Communicate status updates, including delivery risks, and present the team achievements to the client, leadership stakeholders and colleagues;
  • Ensure high-quality development, validate and deliver architectural decisions to the team;
  • Negotiate priorities, clarify requirements and help to translate product requirements into clear, actionable technical deliverables;
  • Contribute to release planning, documentation, and retrospective reviews.
