Job title: Senior Backend Engineer (Kotlin)

Role location: Zürich - 3 x per week

Role and responsibilities:

• Designing, developing, and enhancing backend features and tools.
• Maintaining and improving existing systems.
• Leading implementation of new components as the product scales.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams and sharing technical expertise.

Job requirements:

Essential:

• Strong Kotlin development experience.
• Background in distributed systems and relational databases.
• Experience designing APIs.
• Proficient with Git.

Nice to have:

• Experience with event sourcing/CQRS.
• Knowledge of GraphQL
• Knowledge of Go.
• Familiarity with infrastructure tools like Docker, Kubernetes, or Terraform.
