Data Scientist – Applied AI with Real-World Impact

Location: Nottingham (Hybrid – 2 days per week onsite)

The Role

Be part of a rapidly growing AI company born out of leading academic research and now helping major brands like Boots make smarter, data-driven decisions. You’ll sit at the intersection of science, engineering, and real-world impact, transforming large-scale behavioural data into production-grade AI models that deliver tangible outcomes in healthcare, mobility, and retail.

This is a role where you’ll take full ownership, from concept through to deployment, shaping product direction and watching your work directly influence how organisations think and operate.

Your Responsibilities

  • Analyse and model large, complex behavioural and time-series datasets
  • Build, validate, and deploy machine learning models for forecasting, classification, and behavioural prediction
  • Design scalable data pipelines and collaborate closely with engineers and product teams to integrate models into production
  • Translate technical insights into clear, actionable narratives for diverse audiences

Why You’ll Love It Here

  • Work with a modern, cloud-first AI/ML stack (Python, SQL, Databricks, and more)
  • Shape intelligent systems that power decisions across multiple industries
  • Hybrid setup with 2 days per week in our Nottingham HQ
  • 30 days holiday, flexible working, and a culture that values curiosity, experimentation, and impact

This is a hands-on role where cutting-edge research meets real-world application, perfect for someone who wants to build AI that genuinely changes how people live, work, and move.
