The Associate Director of Procurement – Data Analytics & AI is responsible to lead the development and execution of our data-driven strategy within the procurement function. This role will be pivotal in transforming fragmented data sources into actionable insights, leveraging advanced analytics, AI, and delivering user-friendly self-service tools.

What You Can Expect
The Associate Director of Procurement – Data Analytics & AI is responsible to lead the development and execution of our data-driven strategy within the procurement function. This role will be pivotal in transforming fragmented data sources into actionable insights, leveraging advanced analytics, AI, and delivering user-friendly self-service tools.
How You'll Create Impact
- Drive global data analytics, AI strategy and vision for Procurement
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve data visibility, decision-making, and operational efficiency
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Procurement, IT, Finance, Continuous Improvement, PMO and business units
- Conceptualize, design, implement, processes driving Procurement strategy and manage change management across systems that support such processes
- Oversee the design and implementation of ETL pipelines and data models using tools like SQL, Snowflake, and Python
- Develop and maintain scalable analytics solutions that support procurement KPIs and reporting
- Apply machine learning techniques to identify cost-saving opportunities, forecast financial performance, optimize supplier financial performance
- Champion the use of AI tools to automate and enhance procurement processes
- Lead the development of user-facing tools and dashboards using PHP, HTML, CSS, JS, and frameworks such as Yii2+ and Laravel
- Translate business needs into technical requirements and product roadmaps
- Manage delivery timeline of Procurement tech enablers
- Manage and mentor a global team of data analysts, engineers, and developers
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Strong communicator
- Team building and stakeholder management
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in data analytics, product management and AI within a corporate environment
- Strong proficiency in Programming & Analytics: Python, Pandas, NumPy
- Strong proficiency in AI & ML Tools: Scikit-learn, machine learning algorithms
- Strong proficiency in Data Engineering: SQL, ETL, Snowflake, data modelling
- Strong proficiency in Web Development: PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Yii2+, Laravel
- Proven record of managing cross-functional and offshore teams
- Experience in procurement or supply chain analytics is a strong plus
- Fluency in English
