C++ Embedded Engineer

For our Client we are looking for experienced C++ Software Engineer.

• Location: 1x/week in Cracow
• Form of cooperation: B2B contract via Hays
• Rate: 130-160 pln/h net + vat (depends on experience)
• Start date: November/December 2024
• Project: modern systems for automotive industry

Requirements:

Must have skills:

• Minimum 10 years of experience as embedded developer
• Minimum 8 years of experience in C++ embedded programming
• Experience in Python programming and unit tests
• Bachelor or Master's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field
• Good knowledge of SW engineering tools and familiarity with general technical documentation
• Very good communication skills in English in written and spoken form

Nice to have skills:

• Experience writing software in multiple languages including C and Python
• Familiarity with structured software development processes (CI/CD, Automotive SPICE) and tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, Polarion, GIT, etc.)
• Experience working in an Agile development team
• Experience working within a multi-regional or multi-site development team
• Experience working with distributed software architectures

Responsibilities:

• Follow existing E&S standards in SW development process.
• Collecting and analyzing SW requirements, preparing SW design documentation, programming SW modules, preparing and performing tests to verify SW work products.
• Continuous development of professional qualifications.
• Co-operation with local and remote E&S teams. Accomplishing tasks in accordance to E&S and TCK quality standards and schedules.
• Care for good company image. Care for confidential information and company’s property.
